Privacy Notice

Last updated: July 2026

1. Who we are

Flipping Innovations ("we", "us") operates The Pretty Problem and acts as the data controller for personal data processed through the Service.

2. Data we collect

  • Account data — name, email, login credentials.
  • Profile & progress data — completed workouts, streaks, points, journal entries you choose to save.
  • Support communications — messages you send us.
  • Usage & device data — pages viewed, feature interactions, device type, browser, IP address, approximate location.
  • Cookies & similar technologies — see the Cookies section below.

Payment card details are collected directly by our payment processor, Paddle, and are not stored by us.

3. How we use your data

  • Create and manage your account and provide the Service.
  • Process purchases, subscriptions, and support requests (through Paddle).
  • Improve, secure, and troubleshoot the Service.
  • Send you service updates and, with consent where required, marketing.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

4. Legal bases

We rely on: performance of contract (to provide the Service), legitimate interests (to secure and improve the Service), consent (for optional marketing and non-essential cookies), and legal obligation (tax, compliance).

5. Who we share data with

  • Paddle — our Merchant of Record for payments, subscription management, tax compliance, invoicing, and buyer support.
  • Service providers — hosting, analytics, email delivery, and customer support tooling acting as our processors.
  • Professional advisers — legal, accounting, and audit partners under confidentiality.
  • Authorities — when required by law or to protect our rights.

6. International transfers

Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions to protect transfers.

7. Retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes described here, or as required by law. Account and progress data are retained while your account is active and deleted or anonymised on request or after a period of inactivity.

8. Your rights

Subject to your local law, you may have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, or object to processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent. You may also complain to your local data protection authority. To exercise a right, contact us using the details below; we will respond within one month.

9. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures — including encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege practices — to protect personal data. No system is 100% secure.

10. Cookies

We use essential cookies to run the Service and, where you consent, analytics cookies to understand usage. You can manage cookie preferences in your browser.

11. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect data from children.

12. Contact

Contact Flipping Innovations through the support channel listed on our website for privacy questions or to exercise your rights.
